Ralph Sorensen Miller was born October 27, 1961 in Logan, Utah to Roy Isaac Miller and Janet Sorensen Miller. As the fourth of nine children, he loved and was loved by his large family. He was well travelled, having lived in Utah, Samoa, and Idaho before reaching high school. In 1978, he graduated from Wendell High School in Wendell, Idaho where he enjoyed scouting, football, and academics. Ralph was well known for being uncommonly kind, generous, tender-hearted, and caring. He had a great sense of humor and a warm belly laugh. He always looked for the good in others and treated every person he met with respect and genuine concern.
He served a two-year LDS mission in Lansing, Michigan, where he taught others about the gospel of Jesus Christ. After returning home, he attended Brigham Young University where he met and married Julie Holmstead. Ralph was always fascinated by science and human physiology, which led him to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic. While attending Palmer, Ralph and Julie welcomed their first son, Isaac, into the family. They were later blessed with four more sons: Anthony, Alex, Henry, and Max. Ralph loved his boys with all his heart.
In 2012, Ralph married Rita Brown which brought another son, Austin Brown, into his family. Ralph and Rita had a wonderful friendship and marriage and were a great support to each other in the trials of life. Ralph was overjoyed to become a grandpa to his two beautiful granddaughters, Madeline and Eleanor. Ralph is survived by his wife, Rita Miller, and his children, Isaac and Abby Miller, Anthony and Lexi Miller, Alex and Emily Miller, Austin and Alena Brown, Henry, and Max. He is also survived by his sisters, Connie, Jeanene, Vicky, Christi, Ida, Sandy, and his brother, Merlin. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bill "Isaac," and his parents.
